Many webcam sites
have chat rooms where you can talk with the model and other customers. Often the model is hanging out and chatting,
not doing anything sexier than being themselves. Here is a short guide on how to chat with class.
Hanging out in the
chatroom
- If you are a new, be polite, and show respect for the performers and other users.
- Treat it like a real room. Remember there are real people in it.
- When you enter, say "hi". When you leave, say "bye".
- Talk -- don't just lurk! When you arrive, take a second to figure out what people are talking about – you just entered a room with a conversation
- If you are going to be away from your computer for a short time, tell the other users.
- Don't talk in CAPITAL LETTERS, it looks like you're shouting.
- Don't use constant colors/emoticons/smilies/pictures. This too is like shouting.
- Be patient if a performer is slow to respond during a chat conversation.
- Remember that this is live human being with lots going on. They may even be working on two different sites at once.
Talking to the
models.
- You might want to see more of the model than they are showing. Maybe they are sitting and you’d like to see their ass. Or maybe their face isn’t visible. Feel free to ask nicely. But remember, money talks louder than words.
- So if you have a request, tip first. Just a buck or two shows respect and serious intentions. As one model said:
“Even the smallest token or gold could be an indication of respect. It doesn't have to pad her pockets. But an indication of respect. A small amount without a request.”
- Don't make demands! And if the model says no, don't beg. It's pathetic. They may be polite, but believe me everyone there will think you're a douche.
- The sad fact is that models get used to losers who will never pay anything but who still ask to see tits or more. You want to distinguish yourself from these losers from the start.
- Remember, the models are working and trying to make money. If you are just chatting and killing time, they eventually have to start paying more attention to other people. That's just the way it is.
- Bottom line is “camgirls need money to operate. They are coin-operated jukeboxes of love.”

Once you've been around a while, you'll notice idiots who ask questions that are clearly answered in the bio. Don't be one of those idiots.

Tip Goals
If you look at the
topic in the chat room, you will often see some “tip goal” posted. It might say “250 until DP show”. This is a tip countdown. It means that the
model is counting the tips people send and will do a public DP (double
penetration) show after she gets 250 more tokens. Sites
